Got a job working as a grounds keeper at a expensive resort mid-way through May. I did it to mostly to appease my parentals but I don’t mind the work. I am learning lots of random things that will come in useful in the future, and I get to hang out on a beach in beautiful late spring weather all day. Oh, and my entire body is sunburned now.

tonight I was invited by a friend who had tickets to a monster truck show lol

so cheesy so bad. they actually turned the lights off in the stadium , announced that spaceships wer eapproaching, then had this moon-rover looking van drive in…and painstakingly slowly transform into an awkward looking stilt monster??

the thing talks in a robot voice about it being protector of the universe and i being to get excited because it has these lazer cannon devices that look like they could shoot flames

SUDDENELY its arhc nemesis REPTAR (i know this because i was listening) enters the arena and i get excited for transforming stilt-monster robot showdown.

5 minutes pass while reptar transforms into awkward and very unimpressive stilt monster…

then the great finale :

they talk for literally 10 minutes about the power of dreams and then leave.
